Fairbow is going to war
2009 is the year for the new Fairbow line.
This year we have, amongst other things, developed our own war bow line, the Warfair Bow!
Warfairbows - Not for the faint hearted !
These bows are built to specifications of the old medieval war bows with modern insights. They are available in durable and fast hardwoods. A Warfairbow is made to be drawn 32 inch (‘behind the ear’). A ‘military’ or ‘livery’ arrow, as stated in the EWBS guidelines, should be used when shooting these bows. Fairbow has the Warfairbow on the shelves in a range of draw weights between 70 lbs and 150 lbs (EWBS states a war bow should be 70lb draw weight or higher). All Fairwarbows come as standard with a year warranty and are tested to the extreme draw length of 34 inch!

The FBT Warfairbow
This is, of course, a true Fairbow but with a medieval twist. This war bow is made with a red hardwood belly (Jatoba) and a Hickory back with a chased growth ring. By following the growth ring a similar appearance is created to a yew bow but with the durability and speed of tropical hardwood. The FBT war bow is fully varnished and has an arrow pass mark to give this bow a very medieval appearance. These are real wolves in sheep’s clothing! Try them as soon as possible at one of our events.
The FST Warfairbow
This is Fairbow ‘goes XL’, a Greenheart belly, a tapered Osage core and a Bamboo backing making this bow, probably, the fastest powerhouse on the market today. These monsters are super fast. The FST is fully varnished, has strike plates on both sides of the bow (lh/rh) for protection against whipped arrows and has a comfortable leather grip. Available in draw weights up to 150 lbs !
The A.S.H. FS War bow
This war bow is the starter in the heavy duty bows. The belly is made of durable solid Hickory. The core is made of dark hardwood and the backing is made of nicely rounded Hickory. A true and durable powerhouse. The FS has a maximum of 32 inch draw length and a maximum of 130 lbs draw weight.
